Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her career in creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets of the White House. Although she initially found the position intellectually stimulating and exciting however, she began to get bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. It took her 18 years to make the shop hugely successful, and then closed the store. She then began to write her first cookbook. In the following years, numerous books were released and she also wrote magazine columns. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a huge success. The company also offers a wide range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina never went to a cookery school nor was she employed in a dining establishment. She is entirely self-taught. She is known as a simple cook and for her entertaining cooking style. She is well-known for her simple recipes such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts.
