David Muir was born in America and is an American journalist. His ABC News show World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a success for many years. Alongside that the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. The most-watched newscast in America is his program featuring dramatic videos and animations. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his previous anchor Diane Sawyer. In the past he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. The journeys he has taken him on have brought him to every places on earth, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more. He has been awarded several Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from Associated Press.
