Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the very first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, as well as 2017, she won her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from when she was a young age. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31, (by in 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California in 2009. She had a good performance at her very first games. She placed within the top 10 of a field of 70. But she did not win a championship and concluded the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. The following year she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She was the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie won again her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal as well as, more recently in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Presently Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many others.
